Teresa Oscarsson has a fine sense of color and composition, with a wonderfully naive expression, she creates narrative images.
One can draw parallels with Anna Casparsson and Lim-Johan, and it may also recall Carl Fredrik Hill, when he created his own worlds from pictures he had seen in books.
Fantasy Grounds is mixed with religious and mythological subjects from different parts of the world. In a picture dancing dervishes, in another the Mosjö Madonna with a Flower in his hand. Viking fairytales illustrated and also ancient Egyptian scenes.
It is full of humor, warmth and imagination – very willfully.”

And Teresa Oscarsson’s (born 1951) fantastic “Among Yggdrasil’s branches” where asa faith are embroidered in wool. She is one of the very few artists who have been selected even though she was selected the year before.
– Just because they are so good, says Niclas Östlind, explaining that the jury selected anonymously from photographs of the artworks, but that we nevertheless recognize the artists’ style from year to year.”
